I just called my travel agent and was informed that all flights to New York are booked until September 5th! Wtf! Is this normal? I need to get out of here because my visa runs out on Aug 27! I jumped on all the waitlists possible, but am nerveous I won't get anything in time.
Anyone have any suggestions? |

| Go to Japan or another country and wait staying in a hostel as to keep costs minimal and buy a ticket out from there. |

| Go to your local travel agent and they can book you a ticket out. I tried to book online but kept being stymied by wait lists. The Top Air Travel agent hooked me up. If that doesn't work out, follow the previous advice to get out of Korea and book from that place. |

Hey buster - which travel agent did you use. Could you give me their number? Do they speak english?
Please let me know, I will all them ASAP.
FYI - yes, I extended my visa to 3 months. Is there anyway I can talk to Immigration and extend it a couple days (or a week)? Its not like I'm trying to stick around - am trying like hell to get outta here!
I would go to another country, but this is an open ended ticket, so I can't change it to go somewhere else unless I pay bigtime. |

| Oh, go to busan and take the ferry to Tsushima in Japan and when you come back 4 - 5 hours later, your visa will be extended. I think the fare is W100,000 round trip. |
