No, there is no war. That only happens between nations. Al-Qaeda is not a nation. It's a small group of extremists who got lucky because the Bush admin was asleep at the wheel.

it only happens between nations

Israel is not at war with Hamas or Hizzbollah?

India is not at war with the Kashmiri groups?

The US isn't at war with the Taliban?

The US is at war with the Bathists , the Khomeni followers and the Jihad international, until they give up their war. They have been after the US way before 9-11 . 9-11 was the end of tolerating it.

See, you openly support murder and torture, so I don't see why you keep balking at the genocide you know full well you'll have to commit in order to reach your goals.[

It is not murder to kill those who actively support Al Qaeda , the Bathists or the Khomeni revolution. It is legitimate self defense against those who are the moral equivalent of the Klan. Those who support them are the moral equivalent of white southerners who supported the Klan.

IF mideast governments are forced to kill Al Qaeda supporters there will be less terror.

IF mideast regimes and elties stop teaching hate and inciting violence there will be less terror.

IF the the financiers , strategists and bomb makers of the terror groups are killed the terrorists will be far less effective.

The US doesn't have to accept a war against it. and if the other side doesn't want to give up their war then almost anything the US does to put an end to the war against it is legitimate and fair and justified.

You don't like it tough. Tell the other side to give up their war.

The US doesn't have a right to steal their oil, but but the US has a right to force them to give up their war.And that is what the US is fighting for.
