|

I tried contacting Dell with no success. Their Korean website lacks a phone number, and I don't feel like calling international. Ideally I'd like to order through Dell because I've had good luck with them in the past, but I decided I'm going to settle for purchasing a computer up front in Korea.
That being said, does anyone know a good place to buy a desktop in Anyang?
I'm looking to go cheap... like $600k WON cheap. Just something basic with an LCD monitor and standard accessories.
Any ideas? |

The phone number for Dell Korea is right on the front page of the www.dell.co.kr site. It's 0808-505050.
I bought my laptop from Dell Korea last year and it was easy, affordable and quick to ship. |

I don't know what you plan to use it for, but you can get a Dell model upgraded to a dual-core TurionX2 chip at 1.6 ghz for 700,000. That's not as cheap as in the USA (and you really need 2 gig of Ram with Vista to run OK -- that is only one, but you should upgrade Ram elsewhere NOT FROM DELL), but overall a good deal for Korea.
Yeah, I know Turion isn't the best, but if you want to go cheap, and have dual-core, it is. |
