Suh Sewon is a famous Korean comedian, and this is one of
his son's "works of art" enjoy.

I give the band top marks, but the singer's noraebang rendition... not so much.

no way. that band was sloppy as hell. a noraebang studio band would have done a much better job.

sure, it's crap and it's cashing in on something unoriginal (its cute korean boys singing in english-ee! the girls go wild), but i can't say it's much worse than all the 80s cover songs that came out in the states in the late 90s/early 2000s.

remember how Limp Bizkit completely coopted a few lines (All I wanted was a pepsi...) from Suicidal Tendencies' "Institutionalized?" That annoyed me the most.

What struck me was the passivity of the crowd.

that's normal. try going to a rock concert at rolling hall sometime. often the crowd SITS ON THE FLOOR.

i thought the ladies in the audience for this video were getting quite into it, as far as getting quite into it goes in korea.

At least there was no synchronized waving of glow sticks or balloons.

It's grunge. Sloppy is one of the charms of the style. At least they were more in time than the singer.

In a way, that'd be a punk as *beep*.
