Yes, deeply disappointed, although I did watch it on a dodgy DVD.

Visually, it was stunning in the theater, so that might change your thinking a bit...but you really can't fix plot holes with a prettier picture. I was really into it until the end, which left me disappointed.

Yes...it was certainly the last part of the film that left me thinking: what the ?

I thought the trip through the monolith was groovy, man.

Pfft...you're the one with the Count as your avatar! Talk about nonsense...30 years and I don't think he's ever gone higher than 10. I could be mistaken...

I think you are right, he never really goes beyond 10. But in "count goes shopping" he speaks of potatoes and newspapers in big numbers, even over 100.

It wasn't bad, considering it wasn't directed by Danny Boyle.

Did anyone else see his new one Sunshine?

Yeah, I saw it. Is this director into Apocolyptic movies or what?

Really enjoyed it.

The empty city shots remind me of where I live in Korea.

I love zombie flicks, but 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later are utter tosh in my opinion.

"The Rage Virus" - good lord, only a Brit could come up with that one...

That was brilliant - I've got all my kids singing that potato song now.

i liked the zombies in 28 days and 28 weeks ... good and fast zombies are a bit more terrifying

also

i liked the second movie much more than the first because it didnt have the crap child actor, made for tv movie feel in the middle of it. also stringer bell was in the second movie so that was cool. And It had a nice non too subtle commentary on fighting the insurgency in Iraq running throughout which i liked.

I thought the end was OK, apart from the obvious geographical errors... they were near westminster when they went into the underground and then walked to wembley. I guess these days London has a landmark on every street so they just wanted to get them all in. As for the virus spreading to france... another potential though unlikely sequel so that was good.

urmmmmm *NERD ALERT!*

strictly speaking, 28 days / weeks later aren't actually zombie films.
a zombie is dead being, resurrected with memories of their old life.
the 'zombies' in these films are never actually dead, they are infected with the rage virus and remain alive, so to speak.

carry on... Wink
