..knowing it?
tonight i was in the last class, everyone was tired...and then something admittedly low in humour happened, but a welcome break.
we were covering "last night i was....." and the students have to check a picture to see what to say.
there was a picture of a guy feeding his dog.
so what does my student say: "last night i was..uhh...giving my dog."
classic.

The guy who said "the opposition sex" was a businessman in his mid 40's.

Maybe a fight with the wife?

That just reminds me...I'm trying to teach a student how to say janitor, and she is um, not quite getting it. Have to work on that with her, or else take comfort in the fact that no one really talks about janitors in day to day conversation! Embarassed

We had this post a long time before... Anyways a student changed her look 100% and was so happy about and so weren't a lot of the guys, and in some jumbling of Konglish with Korean meanings behind it all, she came out and said,

"How about feeling me?"

Shocked

This is the second time I remember you telling us this, but yet again, you forgot to mention whether you did or not. Wink

I had one of these come up this week in a 6th grade class while doing "to be + verb + ing."

I think you can guess what "vacuuming" turned into. Smile

(It was in the book, there was no avoiding it.)
