I just received my visa issuance number yesterday and plan on stopping by the local Korean consulate (in Seattle) on Monday. However, reviewing the requirements on their website has left me with a few questions. They require :

A) A valid passport (check)
B) A completed visa application (downloaded, but don't know my address in Korea. I plan on emailing the school director, but is it absolutely necessary to have this filled out beforehand?)
C) A recent photo (2"x2" color) (check)
D) Fee (check)
E) Required Documents

- Certificate of academic degree or diploma of graduation (bringing a notarized copy & transcript)
- Employment contract (check)
- Documents regarding establishment of school or organization (what is this?)
- Letter of personal security assurance (Form 129) (and again - what is this?)

Any help with the last two items in particular would be greatly appreciated.

That looks like the requirements to get the magic visa number. Because you have the magic visa number then most of that has been turned in to the office in Korea.

I didn't have to give all that stuff to the Chicago consulate. You should probably call them on the phone.

My recruiter gave me the addresses. Of course I was sent somewhere else by EPIK when I got here. Make sure they understand that you already have the visa issuance number.
