What would be the way to go to watch some NBA basketball?
TVUplayer isn't working well these days. ESPN and NBA TV are both down and I don't think that the satellite program will get me any NBA love.
I'm seriously considering wiring a friend some money to set up the Sling Box. |

Does anyone know how to watch these types of videos?

ABC and NBC have streamin video that you can watch episodes online, but you have to live in the US. Is there someway to fool the system? |

Well, I've got SOPcast, Joost, and TVUplayer going. All have their strengths - especially if you're Chinese! In combination, however, I find that there's enough interesting stuff to watch.
I run all three off of my HTPC hooked into my Xcanvas and it looks alright.
BTW: I have 3 JOOST invites. If you want in on the Beta, reply to this thread and send me a PM with your full name and e-mail addy. |

Sopcast is the best for live NBA playoff action...it's also good for network shows too. |

btw, you can watch MLB TV (not all but a few of the games) on Naver for free. last year it was on Yahoo Korea.
i watched the rubber game between the Red Sox and Yankees yesterday. to my surprise, even the commentary was in English, which was awesome.t he only thing that suck was that the Red Sox lost. |

everyone...i recently stumbled upon this site...i've watched a few games on it...it seems to have a little bit of everything....NHL NBA NFL MLB RUGBY etc.....i watched the phoenix suns game last night.....and a hockey game the other night....however, i tried to watch the denver nuggets game and it was only an audio feed...so I don't know what the percentage of live streams is, but it seems pretty good
http://www.channelsurfing.net/
also...this other site has links to TVU or SOPCAST or a few assorted programs' coverage of sports

these are great for sports fans...
enjoy! |

IMO utorrent + Tvtorrents.com + VLC = the best TV I've ever had in my life. Being in Korea is pretty much irrelevant.
Sports is the big exception to that.
But if you aren't a live sports fan then there's no need to get into anything more complex than that. |
