I'm glad to hear about your parents, and I virtually worship mine... but your avatar makes me want to vomit. |

This is correct. Been here 10+ years. Parents sometimes do and say the stupidest things and it's really bloody annoying. |

Having both a child and parents, I can see both sides of the issue. I know I can be a pain to my son at times, and I know I can be the same to my parents.
My folks are both about 82, and I really don't know how much longer I'll have them in my life; my mom has several health issues and my dad has both congestive heart failure and Parkinson's. I love them both dearly and dread the day I will no longer have them. However, I know that day will come. While they are around, I will cherish each day. While in Korea, I talk with them on Skype most every morning; I make sure to give them my love to finish off each conversation. |

I just want to say that sometimes my parents can be so stupid it drives me crazy.

How often have they said the same thing about you?
"Honey, your son is eating dirt again."
"Dear one, he is just rebelling because you took the green beans out of his ears." |

Been in Canada a week visiting my parents and I can hardly wait until my flight leaves tomorrow. Must leave here before I kill myself or them.
