Does anybody actually eat Spam?
My cat likes it, and I've been thinking of giving it a taste.
How do you eat it? |

Grab a spoon and dig in!!
Or if you really must eat it... fry it up till it's barely recognisable... and smother it in sauce of choice |

Very rarely (maybe once every 10 years) eat it but it's okay fried up (no extra oil added) served with toast and relish. |

To me, Spam is like popcorn or fish: I like the taste of it, but the smell makes me sick to my stomach.
I prefer Treet to Spam, but I don't think that they sell it over here. Yep, fry some up; put it between two pieces of toast; add some ketchep, and pour yourself some orange juice. You'll have quite a party going on. (I'm easily amused.) |

I can't eat spam just right out of the can. Its gotta be "cooked" somewayor another.
I think thin slicing it, dipping it in egg and frying it. Its also pretty good in Kimchi Chigae. Strange as it may seem, I can only eat spam with rice. Maybe its a Korean thing. I tried eating a spam sandwich and I hated it. |

I am old enough to remember when Spam was actually popular in the US (although on the wane). I openly laughed when during a speaking test in answer to the question What is your favorite food? a middle schooler answered Spam it took me a second to figure out he was sincere.
I have not tried it since I was a kid. |

Spams great. Cut it up, fry it. Scramble some eggs and make some rice. Eat all together with Tapatio, that's a good breakfast! |

i'm from poor white people stock in America, and i can tell you that Spam's popularity shows no signs of abating. same thing with Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.
yes, fry Spam until it is crispy and eat it on toast with whatever else you want to add. simple is better, so maybe just some ketchup or a piece of cheese.
ive seen the Spam commercials where they guy is eating it with rice. it actually does sounds like it would be tasty that way.
don't buy fake Spam. it is way too salty and there's a good chance you'll find a tooth or a bit of an eyeball in there. |
