any Korean guy make a joke about being gay? Especially since being gay is so frowned upon here? hahaha....Last night,a guy told me that he was gay and that the guy that works in a certain establishment is his partner. He was dead serious. He said in 2 years they will go to Tahiland or Japan and get married, since in Korea it is not accepted by society.

So, later, I walked over to the guy and he swore to me he was not gay. He was getting agitated though, and he told me he would show me a picture of his girlfriend on his handphone. Most guys have their girlfriends as their default pic. He had to scroll way on down his list of pics to find said girl. I've known this guy since the end of March. He has MANY women friends. There is no evidenced of this so-called girlfriend on his cyworld page, either. Supposedly, he's been seeing her since the end of June. In the past, he has made jokes about different girls being his girlfriend. None of them actually were. At first, I thought he was aplayer, but now, I have to wonder if he is gay. Also, the guy last night kissed said guy on the hand, and said guy wrapped his arms around the guy and they were holding hands. When I asked him about this, he denied anything, and said it was only skinship. One girl he is friends with made a comment on his cyworld page when he made a joke about someone being his girlfriend. She told him he has difficult relations with women. Instead of player, that could also mean he's gay.

I've gotten gay vibes from this dude who told me they were a couple last night. He said they have been together 2 years. He usually comes to this place alone when I go there, and he 's there at closing time. I've never seen the guy's so-called girlfriend. That pic in his phone could mean zip. She could just be a friend. This guy is 33 and single and he told me he does not like girls. He said he really loves this guy. Said guy is 27. Later, the guy I am friends with came over to where we were going to play darts. The other guy said to me are you OK? I said yes, and he said are you sure? I said yes, and he said here is my partner. I looked at the other guy and he said "he's a liar". I think there is a possibility he's really gay. Don't you? No evidence of the actual girlfriend on cyworld is fishy. He is femine too, and the other dude is more masculine. I also don't believe most Koreans would make up crap like this. Maybe I'm wrong.

Like I said before, I have goten gay vibes from the masculine one before, and just this past week, I was thinking why is he always coming in there, alone at 33 years old, at closing time? I was thinking maybe he was gay and into this guy. Then, bam, last night, he told me he loves this guy and that they are together. hmmm. I have never seen a guy kiss another guy's hand. I say it's more than skinship. Even after I saw the pic of his so-called girlfriend, I still got vibes that he was lying and I told him we are friends, so it is Ok if he is gay. He kind of raised his voice and pointed at me and said" No, I'm not gay"! Before that though, I had tears in my eyes and he said to wait that he would show me his girlfriend's pic. I still think maybe he's gay. Not to mention, the guy knows I had a thing for this guy before, and he was practically begging me to please not touch his lover, and he was trying to get me to promise him I would not touch him. What???????? Maybe the guy I'm friends with is bi. I asked him, why are you so worried about me if he's your lover?

I didn't read your whole post; in fact, I barely made it through the first paragraph. However, yes, I have know a Korean guy who made a joke about being gay.

I was hanging out with two Korean guys, one with great English, one with so-so English. The one with so-so English was telling me that he was very good friends with the other guy and that he experienced "much pleasure" when he was with him. I caught the eye of his friend and wiggled my eyebrows and we both started laughing. The friend with poor English realized that what he said came off as sort of gay, and it became the running joke of the evening. They referred to themselves as a couple all night.

So I suppose it is not unheard of.

^What gives you the right to know his sexual orientation? Besides, your interest in him is pointless. If he had any interest in you, he wouldn't have said anything about being gay or having a girlfriend.
