if you're looking for the korea experience closer to the joseon dynasty, if your definition of "real" is poor, isolated, rigid social structure...north korea.

yeah i'll bet they speak less bbanmal to each other and bow more.

None of us knows about the North, except what we've heard and read, but the more traditional ways of life and thinking are easier to find out in the countryside. Might be one reason I prefer big cities ... hmm.
