Can anyone recommend a nice day trip somewhere in Korea? I live in Siheung and was looking to go somewhere peaceful when we are off on the 15th. Somewhere close and easy to get to would be perfect. |

Go to Heyri art community. Take the subway to the end of the orange line to Daehwa and then take a bus or taxi to Heyri. They have many cafes and galleries. You probably wouldn't be interested but they also have a strawberry girl park, with all things of that character ddalggi. She's the character with the strawberry head. hehehe |

There's also a Heyri Art Community near the Paju English Village, in Gyeonggido province, but that doesn't help the OP / Morton.

I would suggest a mountain trail hike which is easily found all over Korea. Usually at the trail head, you see a big map of the trail system in the local area. This is a fantastic way to take in the real beauty Korea has to offer and it is very peaceful. |
