There's a project to make open source maps.

The people in the UK seem to be having fun and
while there is lots of talk about the technology
most of the data is collected with pencil and paper.

Anyone interested in creating maps please visit

and join the mailing lists.

I recommend joining the newbie list first.

Maybe we can make a Korean mailing list or group.

There are lots of things you can do even if you don't
have a suitable GPS. (I don't think any
of the Korean GPS systems are suitable, but I could
be wrong.)

I would be happy to collect GPS data for someone who wants
to do the mapping.
