There I said it, it's not THAT bad. I'm mean it's bad, but it's not Rocky IV bad or Halloween III bad. It could have been a lot worse.

Well I guess when you go into the movie with low expectations and see some pretty cool visual effects, one can understand you're viewpoint.

But come on man, that movie was pretty damn bad.

Why did Ethan just leave the black guy on two occasions? What kind of friend is that?

And didn't Ethan take a bullet for the girl he was trying to protect? But then in the next scene you see him driving a car in New Mexico.

And how did New Mexico all of a sudden turn into this wierd dragon world?

And why was Ethan's eyes a different color when he was a child?

How did the media or government not notice this giant dragon on the streets of L.A.?

Why did Ethan the reporter dress like an adjoshi?

How come the dialogue had some obvous konglish mistakes?

I can go on an on.............

Why does the old master have shiny nylon for a beard?

Why does the dragon attack on the KBS drama Korean village have a cloudy sky but when they cut to the live action, the sky is blue?

walked out less than half way through it

it's not that bad, it's worse

maybe on t.v. while one's busy doing other stuff it'd be semi-entertaining to glance at

otherwise, all thumbs down

I knew this movie was going to be bad. I mean he is the same director who directed "reptilian", which is by far the worst movie I have ever seen.

The thing that turned me off the most was the horrible acting and dialogues in 'Reptilian'. Neutral If it wasn't for the poor acting and dialogues, it would have been an okay movie.

I haven't watched D-war, but from the comments I've gotten here he should've just stuck with big name Korean actors/actresses with D-War or maybe an animation. Because I'm getting the impression that the director doesn't know whether or not his actors are acting decently or not, due to the language barrier.

Its a shame, there's been tons of Korean movies that received good reviews from critics but opened only in a relatively few american theaters. Yet, this piece of crap has the highest number of theater openings than any other Korean films.

Rocky IV is awesome. And even if you disagree with that, Rocky V is still unanimously the crappiest Rocky movie, so you should be comparing D-War to that one if any.

First Rocky V was awesome. Kind of like a really bad awesome. And while I do enjoy Rocky IV a lot, after all it has four musical scenes in it, even today I have "No easy way out" on my bookmarks for youtube.com. it's still a bad good movie.

I didn't pay attention to the minute details of the movie, but I'll will try to defend it a bit. Just for the hell of it. I know that it's a terrible movie alright. But here are some explantions why things were the way they were.

Ethan getting shot. Tranq dart. I didn't see any blood? Did you?

Ethan having different colored eyes as a kid. Contacts. There! Puzzle solved.

Different colored sky during the Korean scene: Face it weather changes. Come on now.

Where did the dragon castle come from in New Mexico? Ever heard of Area 51?

Why did he leave his black friend?
Hoes before Bros. They were DESINTINED TO BE TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did the media ignore the giant dragon? Alright they dropped the ball on that one, that didn't make any sense.

But man, come on man, Hollywood produces shi-ty movies all the time, Let Korea produce one for once. And as Shi-ty movies go it wasn't THAT bad. I know that it's a crappy movie but it could of been a hell of a lot worse. I mean have you watched Halloween III or any of The Crow sequels?

I don't know. Reptilian was extremely crappy, and that was a Korean movie. It left too much of a bad taste for me to watch his second movie.

Just tell me this, does the modern military kick the dragon army's ass or not? If yes, I might give the movie a try just to watch the arrogant medieval dragon army get its butt kicked.

Why does the black guy go to work the next day, AFTER he was chased by a giant dragon and being ditched by his friend and what is this database he is using to find "Sarah"?

Who are these two FBI agents??? How do they know the dragon is looking for "Sarah"? How does their boss know the dragon is in the cave?

The movie is slightly above Sci-Fi channel quality. I watched the movie all the way through, it was hilarious...but yes, it really is that bad.

Can anyone tell me what the message at the end says? I hear it's a patriotic rant and I really want to understand why it's at the end of this movie. I also hear this message is the reason a lot of Koreans feel an obligation to see the film, can anyone help?

The black guy shows up for work becuase that is what a Korean would have done.

The FBI knew all of that stuff becuase they're the FB Motherlovin' I Move along now, nothing more to see here.

Exactly...I loved Rocky IV. Rocky V was such garbage...except for the end when Rocky fought that guy with the mullet.
