I have a important question that has been confusing me a lot. My contract ends on december 31 but my last day of work is dec 26. I wanted to travel a bit before I go back to Canada but I have a couple of questions to anyone that would be able to answer them

1) If I leave to another country on dec 27th should I give up my alien card then?

2) If I come back after dec 31 when my visa and alien card have expired would I get an automatic 6 month visa because I am a Canadian citizen or is there something I have to do before I leave?

any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. |

				1. yes, you should.

2. no, you don't have to do anything--it's an automatic 6-month tourist visa, so if you enter Korea again, you'll have the 6 months freedom to travel.
