I'm trying to find a one-way back home to Dallas (DFW). However, every website I search has the CHEAPEST going for $1700. I seriously don't understand how it could be that expensive! Is there some other place I don't know about for buying tickets back to America?
I've tried going to websites like exedia, travelocity, etc. and also the actual airline websites (UA, AA, Korean Air, etc.).

Also, would it be much cheaper to fly to Beijing first and then get a ticket? I have a friend that teaches there and says you can buy tickets from China to the US for $300...sounds too good to be true.

Any help would be AWESOME.

I just checked airmall.co.kr and they show a price on August 30th (you didn't say when you were traveling) one way Seoul - DFW for 850,000 and change.

You will need some help if you don't read Korean and/or don't have a Korean credit card.

Also, you can check whypaymore.co.kr

email all of the travel agents in teh travel agent sticky. It's their job. Tell them to find you a cheap ticket. I would imagine that you would have to pay about a million for a one way that time of year and on short notice.
