Ah Chinese food!!! I lived in Singapore and China for several years and never got tired of it. Korea food on the other hand is so bland and so boring without kimchi (try Seoul Garden in Singapore and you know what I mean). Seriously, the korean bbq style is the least tastiest bbqs I've ever had.
As for someone saying that Korean food is of higher quality than Chinese food, well obviously he has never tried BBQ chicken, pork, fish etc nor does he realise how extensive chinese food is. Plus, chinese food cost more than korean in Japan. That says it all. We're talking about the most popular food in the world here. |

Well, then maybe you should say that you "have heard from some people"...
Actually, I have heard quite the oppositte from my Chinese friends.
And don't you think that Koreans travellling to China and talking about how high-end Korean food is is kind of predictable? |

well, they didn't tell me specifically about korean food. it was chinese who told me.
korean americans have told me, when they go to China, when they find out they are korean from america, they want to learn korean, rather than english.
these were girls that were asking them tho. of course these are like 3 seperate stories.
a few koreans i know went to set up high end salons for upper class chinese in china, supposedly all the women want their hair cut like korean stars, so they want to go to a korean salon. korean dramas are pretty huge in china for the past several years. |

I can see that with the women's styles. I liked Bada's hair when she was promoting her song V.I.P.
maybe you can help find an online company in Canada that will sell this tea? My mother really loves it and she has finished all of the boxes that I bought her

i can't believe i spent so much time...
http://www.koamart.com/shop/19-tea_bags.asp
http://hmart.com/
http://www.kgrocer.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=240
but it doesn't have that specific brand, but the other ones might be similiar. i actually don't know much about tea...
but if she goes to an actual korean supermarket, im pretty sure they will have that specific brand.
but if she's not close, maybe u can go to the store and ask them another one that is similiar, and find it on one of the online stores (i think they ship to canada) and tell her a similiar one? |

During my time in China, I have never heard anyone talk about Korea. Perhaps its thanks to the some of the older Korean dramas that the Korean companies have been trying to sell off (I used to call it the Korean drama wave).
As far as fashion goes, its all Japanese inspired. All my Korean friends agree that Japanese fashion is superior (hair fashion and clothing). The Chinese do have their own style, I feel their men's winter fashion is much better than Korea's. |
