People practice job interviews yesterday at the 2007 Broadcasting Entertainment Employment Convention at the Seoul Trade Exhibition Center in southern Seoul. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism hosts the convention to provide information about careers in the broadcast and entertainment industries.

The girl in the center is wearing a really short skirt. Is that necessary for a career in broadcasting? I'm not complaining though. I'd certainly love to see her reading off the news.

So I take it you'd refuse to hire her as a broadcaster?

It looks like she's taking a dump in one of those "interview theme" toilets.

Broadcasters of Tomorrow? Robots that looks like real humans in clothes in short skirts. Japan and Korea are looking to produce these for highly specified functions such as broadcasting, customer service, teacher, bartender, and the list goes on and on... Korea has one built called, "Ever-1", but Japan leads with research and innovation in making fake humans.

This video is of a Japanese English speaking android woman.

I used to read a lot of research papers about robots written by Japanese scientists (i'm serious. but don't ask why) and they would invariably begin "With a rapidly aging society, the need for robots is greater than ever." Of course, many of the areas in which the Japanese plan to use robots (manufacturing, nursing, etc.) are probably more easily serviced by allowing foreign laborers to immigrate. So, I always found it amusing that the Japanese would rather interact with humanoid robots than filapinos.

We all know that Japan is only creating robots for sex. Let's not kid ourselves here.

Again, what's wrong with filapinos?
