|
|
Cell phones seem to be cheaper here, and the vendors have told me that my purchase of a razr phone in Thailand will work both in Korea and Canada (international something-or-other). I am very skeptical, because the cell phone I purchased in Korea didn't work when I went back to Canada, so I'm wondering if I should trust my instincts and not purchase, or if there is some grain of truth in what they say.
Anyone done this before?
Thanks! |

I bought a phone in Thailand that used a SIM card system. It was compatible with China, Thailand, Taiwan, and most places in Europe but NOT Korea. I dont know; maybe they make one that works in Korea, too... but I doubt it. |

there has been product feature news reports in the Korea Herald about some cell phone models that work in Korea and America seemlessly, using some technology or other. I recall the phone cost more than usual. |

Yeah I doubt this to be the case with this phone. It's just a motorola razr, and they only want 3000baht for it. So they're probably just telling me what I want to hear to get a sale.
Thanks though |
