I have had all my mail arrive so far without any problems. Mail from the UK and Thailand. All have arrived fine.
I recently took out a subscription to The Economist magazine. They have a distribution center here in Korea and their Asia office is in Singapore.
I recieved my first issue without any problems. My name was in English but the address was in Korean.
Since then I haven't recieved anymore copies. I have been in contact with head office who contacted the distributor who called me on MOnday and told me she was sending the last two weeks copies and this weeks to me.
The post has arrived today and my magazines haven't.
I'm finding this rather odd. There can't be problems with the delivery since the address is in Korean. It's not the girls downstairs since they are great and have never not delivered my mail to me yet.
So where are they going? Are they being intercepted because of my English name and binned by the postie?
This ever happened to anybody else.
I have had by subscription extended by a month but it's not much good if the bloody things never get here. |

It's confusing, because you say the address is printed in Korean. Myself, I've generally had mail delievered to my school, because the postman there would be used to seeing letters and packages with a lot of English on the outside - or lately, to my wife's office (an NGO) for the same reason. Hope you get this, um, sorted out.

It is an odd one.
Only other thing I can think of is it's going to the other school up the hil but I doubt it.
If nothing arrives tomorrow I will be in contact with the distributors and get them to send it recorded delivery and contact the head office and get another month tacked on. |

Odd
They have arrived.
The secretary has just been in with another lot of post.
I have recieved the special package of three copies that they sent on MOnday.
I also recieved this weeks issue in the normal way they send it.
So two issues have vaporized somewhere. |

Exactly the same thing happened to me. The distribution centre is in Hong Kong, and they put my address correctly in Korean but my name in English. For the first two months I'd email them each week moaning about my missing magazines.
For a while they were sent me two a week, I'd get one copy on a Thursday and one the following Monday, or sometimes one, or sometimes none at all.
After about two months it all levelled out and I get them each week without fail. |

I hope it does.
Mr Han though is rather chuffed with his free copy of the Economist for this week and is pouring over it talking dictionary in hand.
Not sure how many sets of batteries he is going to use. |
