The people in the apartment next to mine are very noisy- whatever the guy is doing, he sure is good at it!

I turn on my fan and air conditioning, but I can still hear them. Is there anything I can put on my walls to keep the sound out? I heard putting empty egg cartons works. I go through 60 eggs a week, so this would be feasable. But does it really work? Or does something else work better?

And should I ever have a screamer in my place, is there anything I can do to keep the sound in?

Yeah that does work, I've known people who've used them for ghetto recording studios. The thing is that I think you need the cartoons to be a certain type of material. I think the styrofoam ones they pack some eggs in back in the States are the best, but I'm not sure if you can get them packed in styrofoam here.

The foam underlay you can buy for mattresses works as well, but again, not sure if they're available here. Insulation helps too.

What's wrong with banging on the wall the next time or knocking on the guys door and tell him he can be heard? Have someone who speaks korea go with you. I sure would be telling him to tone it down.

Dont worry about it. Eating sixty eggs a week you will have a heart attack soon and then you wont be able to hear them.

Layers of the bubble wrap should work well too.

Cork would be the best...and very expensive. A couple of layers of cardboard boxes might be your best bet. Put down a layer of box then your egg cartons then another layer of box. That'll leave a layer of air that will muffle sound more.

Time for a good old-fashioned screaming contest. If you are in good shape, great. Eat a Korean red ginseng pill everyday for a week before bed, take your woman out for some 보신탕, turn on the soft core porn cable channel and wait for your neighbors to get frisky. Then get to buisness. Of course videotaping said contest and posting it on Daves for final evaluations. Good Luck.

Find two chicks with tourettes and get them around for a threesome. Should be ample retaliation for your neighbors.

You guys are really funny! But seriously, does anyone know if I have to use foam egg cartons, or does the cardboard work well too?

And while I do go through 60 eggs a week, only about 20 of them are with yolks.

Egg cartons of any kind are not going to do anything.
