Understandable . . .I feel the same. Sadly, it isn't a contract ending issue, as the two co-workers (one Korean, one foreigner) both are over 9 mil in backpay and both have 3 to 5 years with this as*clown. It's no secret in the office our boss is an idiot, nice person but a financial clown. Regardless of getting a new job, I would be gone. . .just not worth it, and since I am on a F2 visa, I don't have to worry about it.

I was angry the first time he was late, that was all it took. The continued bs led to me finding work elsewhere (fortunately a Uni Very Happy ) and resigning. . .with 30 days notice. The last 30 days have pushed me beyond anger: bossman sending his kid to Europe for a month after paying his employees a fraction of what he owed most of them from a month ago or beyond, and payday coming up for a new month sent me over the edge. Him whining to all the employees about no money, as a brochure of new van sits in his air conditioned office (with all the windows open of course). I bitched last week about another week of revenue coming in and no money being paid. I received a consulation prize of 280,000. . .oh joy! Anyways, it's almost over. . .and I will get paid, just a matter of when.

Peace,

B~

Didn't you say anything to him like, "Oh, you're thinking about buying a van! Don't you think you should pay your employees first? You're a fucking arsehole! Why do you have the windows open with the air conditioner on? Are you rich? Why don't you pay people what you owe them instead of being a stupid fk and keeping it all to yourself. You're a fkg cheater! So you sent your son to school in Europe? Doesn't paying your employees come first? Fk off!"

That's what I would've done.

I don't know why you call him a nice guy. He's not. I've heard that too often. "Oh, he's a nice guy though."

Whatever. I'd be up his arse every second.

Nice guy. . .a term used I use loosely given no threats, screams, ect. that it seems some have endured by other hogwon owners on powertrips. And yes, many things were brought up blantantly about his behavior and spending habits while owing employees money. I have told my boss I don't care what his problems are, the fact is I am owed by a certain date. Him not collecting from renters, or having to pay old debt, or whatever crap he talks about. . .I have been upfront with what I think, and had it occurred 6 months ago, I would have left then. My co-workers being paid late is their issue.

Didn't you feel like punching him? I'd feel like it.

Your co-workers being owed couldn't have made things very good though. Even if you were paid.

Wonder how guys like him are able to go about their daily lives. Does it make them feel powerful or something? Strange.

I voted 1-2.5 million. Because that is the money that I have been ripped off for since I have come here. That money is in some fat rich guy's hands and I will never get it. I made sure to cost him lots of business, so it's fair.

At this current time, my employer is being honest.

Not from my current job but 2 of my old schools owe me about 2.0M won each. Both of them were my last paycheques. I had to take one of them to court and ended up settling for half because I was stupid and didn't file for unfair dismissal. The other one is from only a few months ago but should be coming any day now. Rolling Eyes
