I've sworn off sequels. Forever.
Honestly, how could they have f*cked this up so royally? They had the bad-ass (albeit over the hill) Bruce Willis, the budget MASSIVE, the T&A factor, explosions, Star Wars references, everything one needs for a kick ass theater-going experience, and instead they pried open my mouth and poured down gallons of this cat-piss-and-donkey-turd smoothie of a movie.
I don't just want my money back. I don't even give a sh*t about my lost time. I want my goddam BRAIN CELLS back. I've drunk liters of vodka and smoked ounces of the green stuff at the same time and killed fewer brain cells. This movie was like injecting a syringe full of DUMBASS directly into your ear while walking around nude in a shopping mall with your thumb up your ass. It was that goddam dumb.
Not only did this movie have a piece-of-sh*t factor of 6,749 out of 10, but we saw the SAME GODDAM MOVIE just last year. It was called 16 Blocks, it starred Bruce Willis, and where Try Hard 4.FELCH belly-flops right into the bulls-eye of that steaming pile of celluloid that Hollywood calls "film", that one at least entertained. I can do dumb, when it's entertaining.
And when the hell did geeky computer spazzes become bad guys? Are you f*cking kidding me?
"Oh God, please don't wipe out my hard drive!"
"Too late, I'm going to RAM this 1394 CARDBUS right up your ass! I'm going to choke you to death with this FIREWIRE! When I get through with you, your disks will be floppy for the REST OF YOUR LIFE."
Trust me, that dialogue is better than the movie and if you see Die Hard 4 and disagree, I'll buy you a ticket to a real movie. |

You publically admit you paid money to see 2, 3 and 4 after having seen 1 and then expect people to respect your movie judgement
You obviously are of the 'Quality of Movie = Number of Exploding Helicopters school of movie criticism. |

i liked the movie but i agree with mack about all the computer crap. that killed some of the movie. it made it feel kind of dated - like it was the late 90s and all the computer/internet stuff was "new" to the mainstream.
i mean, i can forgive that with an older movie, but not one that comes out in 2007. what is this, WARGAMEZ? |

The original Die Hard is one of the best movies EVER. Bar none. I paid money to see 2 (who didn't?), watched 3 on cable, and 4 on the internet. I win.

I don't get off on exploding helicopters. After the Matrix all helicopter scenes are superfluous and f*ggy [note to filmmakers]. Movies with exploding heads, on the other hand, usually RAWK. In Miami Vice, for instance, that guy's head gets shot off by a 50-cal sniper rifle. That was so goddam awesome my eyes actually welled up. |

When I was a kid, before any of my friends had a driver's license,we used to watch Die Hard at the discount theater over and over. EVENTUALLY it got old. Die Hard 2 was worth watching - once. After that, I gave up.
The only reasons sequels are made is for money. |

Yeah, Die Hard was pretty good. A watch more than once movie. Rare these days because of the did that done that deal.
I like Jaws. In my opinion, the best movie of all time. Fk IMDB. |

die hard 4 did suck
1 wsa excellent and 2 and 3 were ok
but 4 could have been anything, it was like alien4, they just got some half polihed script which had been sitting about for ages, and attached it to a 'franchise' |

After seeing transformers (twice) i no longer wanted to see a normal movie again.
The aging Bruce Willis turned me off on this one. I'm not interested in seeing over the hill actors trying to relinquish the old days.
1408 was equally disappointing.
And the whole Fantastic four movie is in the trailer. |

Perhaps, but is it too much to ask to simply be entertained? I'm not asking much. Remember, Predator is the best movie ever made, in my opinion. |

I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Lotta stuff exploding. I like that kind of thing. And I guess I liked the cyber-twist to this one. |

Rocky Balboa was good, though. |
