She got a job there in a small town in the South East. The first week she was there, she had a hard time... now she's been there 3 weeks.

I just got an email from her .. and it sounds just like a post from Kim's KSL homepage. So funny...

I am tempted to post it here but that would betray our friendship, I think...

But she thinks she has an easier time because (of her self-perception) as a beautiful Korean woman who can get help at any time any where from men who are "her age and her elders". Plus, people think she is a model because everyone there is fat. She likes her roomate because, "she always does as I want". Her roomate, an exchange person from Africa, is shy and doesnt have any friends,"because she is African"...also doesn't like it when she stops to talk to her many friends.

She befriended a very important older man in the community who likes her but she doesnt want a relationship with him. She sees this guy every day and he buys her dinner,....

Very Happy

Close. Her flight from Seoul landed there, actually.... different state, though.

Old duke couldn't believe his luck.
As the most important, influential, alpha male of the community- owning sheep as well as cows- he had secured his rightful place as babysitter to the exotic young princess. He would do all he could to help this innocent lamb climb the ladder of success

Sounds about right. Lots of Asian girls who are "ordinary looking" back home come to the US and get rock star treatment from guys. Any girl reasonably cute or better will be spoilt for choices: lobster, steak, roses? All three at once?

The sort of guys without the resources/time to go abroad and fill their fetish. and the sort of guys who like girls who seem demure and girly, hehe ~~~ ^^

There are charisma men, so it follows that there are charisma women.
