mack--

You liked the Miami Vice flick? If so, that raises serious doubts to your credibility as a film critic.

Sure, DH4 sucked, but what did you expect--an oscar winner? You watched it online. All you had to do was close internet explorer.

After seeing transformers (twice) i no longer wanted to see a normal movie again.

The aging Bruce Willis turned me off on this one. I'm not interested in seeing over the hill actors trying to relinquish the old days.

1408 was equally disappointing.

And the whole Fantastic four movie is in the trailer.

Transformers? What *beep* that was.

1408? Good movie.

I didn't even watch Miami Vice to the end. Crap. Like the TV show: CRAP.

Naturally they saved the best for last, and you missed it.

If you like guns (who doesn't?), and you like seeing people getting blown away by guns (who doesn't?), you can't help but appreciate Miami Vice.

While guns in and of themselves do not a great movie make, they do have the power to turn a boring, mediocre film into something watchable (see: Heat, Miami Vice, etc.).

However, DH4 was so chock-a-block full of suck, nothing could have redeemed it.

Incidentally, 1408 sucked because there were no guns in it.

Can't watch the end when you're sleeping.

1408 did not suck.

OK...anyone who likens Heat to Miami Vice knows nothing about movies. I can officially dismiss you now.

That's the fairest comment made here (aside from the fact that DH4 blows).

Yowsuh! I have been dismissed by Jizzo T. Clown!

Before you head out into the real world and start making a clown of yourself, you might wish to know that both Heat and Miami Vice were directed by Michael Mann, his dirty fingerprints are smeared all over both of them, and they follow precisely the same formula (long buildup leads to climatic firefight), which means you know exactly SQUAT about movies.

PAWNED.

This from the guy who says he likes the movie about the jaded, hard-boiled ghost hunter who soils himself because some toilet paper rearranges itself.

That's illegal. You shouldn't do that.

Die Hard rocked. It was by far the best of all the bad sequels this summer. Spiderman and Pirates of the Caribbean were long and boring. The Bourne Ultimatum people obviously never read any of the books, and Ocean's 13 was just bad.

I even liked Seth Bullock as the bad guy.
