My new toy Dell M1330 arrived few days ago. So far the only problem is the infamous Core 2 Duo whining. I'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible. If it can't be fixed/CPU replaced, I'll very likely return the unit to the manufacturer and demand full refund.
Anyway, since this laptop is based on Santa Rosa platform and can use Intel Turbo Memory (aka Robson Memory) I'd like to acquire this piece of equipment as well. And yes, I'm aware that the benefits of Robson Memory are questionable, but I still want it!
I'm looking for the bigger 1GB stick (model number: NVCPEMWR001G110). They seem to have them in Japan, but can I get them from Korea as well? Where? How much? Link? Address? Since many Japanese stores don't deliver internationally do I have to go to Japan to get this? (Um... anyone from Seoul going to Fukuoka soon? *Blink! Blink!*)
It looks like this

And to respond my own question...
I went to LG Service Center on Thursday and ordered 1GB ITM card by myself. Picked it up on Saturday and installed it and seems to working just fine.
Looks like LG is one of the few laptop makers who actually used ITM in their products. So if someone is interested of these things, go to the closest LG Service Center and have it ordered. |

Nerds don't smoke.
In ten years, we are going to have a good laugh about this "advancement" |
