Qinella--you are against teen pregnancy, right??
Fortunately in my 1989 Firebird (second car) the passenger seat folded all the way back, so back bucket seats didn't matter. |

Mine was a 1974 Firebird--nearly new. It was a beauty. |

Here's the nerd-mobile:
The 1972 Gremlin X, purchased for $200 in 1981. Mine looked a lot like the one in the photo, but black on white.
It was a fast little car, with a 304 3-speed that blew away most of the competition. How emasculating for them!
God help us, there's even a website:

A 1994 bright seablue Chevy Cavalier! That's right! I can just sense the envy coming from my laptop. Eat'cher heart out.
I will give that car credit as it's gotten me coast-to-coast in the States and then some. Hurricane weather on the east coast, blizzards in the mid-west and a tornado in the Great Plains, a steep climb over the Rockies and waits until I'm home before giving me engine trouble. First and only car I've ever owned. |

My folks have a red 1994 Chevy Cavalier. Although they don't drive anymore (82 y.o.), my mom still loves that car. She calls it L'il Red (I have a red 1996 Ford Windstar; I use it when I visit the States). |

My favourite was a 1973 Chevelle with a 454 inch engine, 3/4 race cam, two 4 barrel carbs and a 4 speed manual transmission. That was my first new car. It was a mean machine, and it cost me my driving priviledges 3 times on points.
Now I drive a KIA pride. |

1994 (I think?) Mercury Sable. Everyone laughed at me for having a soccer mom car until the day I fit 15 people in it. (And two in the trunk.)
Suckers.
And the car's still alive! My little brother drives it around, even though the electric windows went out and it's caught on fire twice. That car will never die. |
My first car was a blue '93 Sable! I got the same soccer mom comments too, but I loved it. I killed the transmission and just decided to get a new car, I wish I had just fixed it instead because that car was a trooper! To this day I have a thing for family size sedans... |

In around '92 I bought my fist car, an '85 VW GTI - Motor Trends' Car of the Year for that year, btw. What a great little car, lots of pep, cornered like a jackrabbit, and always begged for for, even though it already had 100,000 km's on it. It ended up nickle-and-diming me to death what with all the major/minor repairs and quirky electrical problems, so I eventually got rid of it. Still miss it, though. |

Ha. That was my most recent car in the States. Went on a 25-day trip with my wife in that car.
My first car was a 1980 Toyota Tercel.
Looked like this one except it was silver. |
