I interviewed for the school but the director says she doesn�t have contact details for the old teacher who left. The director seemed nice but the contract is horrendous and needs so many changes that I�m not sure whether to stick with it. The school is JEM language centre.

Without contacting a previous teacher, you are opening yourself up to anything. You say the contract sucks as well....already 2 strokes against them. I would keep looking, unless you can get more information on the place. I'm sure you can find something better.
I'm not saying it's bad......who knows? But that's just the point. Who knows? |

No contact information on the previous teacher is a big red flag. Look for something else.  |
