I think the K boys/men seem to be pretty whipped during the dating years. Marriage seems to change everything in this country, though. That's when the gender discrimination shows it's colors. I think that's why K-girls take full advantage of the years when they're young, single and hot. They hold the cards. They also know that they will lose those cards once they get married. Just my theory.

I have seen some little girls here that are complete dick-teases. There are a few students, around 14, that have a crush on this guy that is 21 years old; he works for admin and gets people coffee, does chores, etc. Poor guy. I told him to stay away from those girls. They will rub up against him, touch him, get him gifts, and he completely wants to go in for it. Last week he said to me that it was very hard to keep it all together, in broken English, of course. The girls say that he looks like that guy with the yellow hair from Super Junior in the Sunkist commercial. Last week he dyed his hair black, and it was the talk of the whole academy, seriously. I wanted to puke.

yeah i can agree with the 17 as a 13 year old theory...also the hitting is probably an act of modesty. PDA is looked down on, so if a guy is pawing at his girlfriend in public she might be embarressed, and young koreans all (okay maybe not all) smack eachother, if they're friends anyways.
