I spent some time in Pattaya basically the bar scene is great but it gets pretty old very fast.
The beach in Pattaya is quite depressing You can stand at the end of the sand and literally spit into the water its that short. You can't see the sand because there are beach umbrella's everywhere. The water is clogged with pollution and there are boats literally everywhere.
If you try to swim you run the risk of being run over by some yahoo on a jet ski.
If you go to Phuket you've got much better beaches plus there are plenty of bargirls on Patong beach. You are only a stones throw away from all the lovely beaches in Krabbi and Phi Phi island |
