My friend just hired a teacher who was recently terminated from her job. She received her LOR and has now signed a contract with my friend. Does she have to go on a visa run to get a new E-2 visa, or is she able to use the last E-2 visa at her new job?

Thanks for the help.

It's a drag but they have to get a new visa.

All E-2s get cancelled following an LOR.

This happened to me last year.

so - an unwanted trip to Fukuoka was required....

When will Korea get a sensible visa system??

Heaven only knows!
