Nope.

Get your camera out and start backing up your statements.

Do you really think I'm going to start taking pictures of strangers' feet?? As I said in my orignal post, on Friday night I was with 6 Korean women, and not one out of the six, but ALL of the six had the long second toe.

You are only looking at a tiny sample.

I do actually expect you to start taking photos of peoples feet. I think most people who have read this thread today believe that it's your job to back up your claims with hard evidence.

Get snapping.

I am Chinese, my second toe is longer than my big toe..

My husband, Korean, has *normal* looking toes - i.e. big toe longer than second.

My daughter here, also has normal looking toes.

I don't need to, because you can just look yourself in the street, on the subway, on a bus, anywhere. There are far more than 1/6.

See you are unwilling to back up your claim which sounds to me like you have made it up.

Go take photos of your six friends feet and six of their friends feet so you get a 36 sample then I might start to believe you. Otherwise it's just another made up statistic.

Why would I be making this up???

Even if I sent you 36 pics like that, it wouldn't prove anything. Or are you saying that there aren't even 36 people in Korea who have an extended second toe??

Probably because you have nothing better to do with your time than make stories up about Koreans and their extended toes that you are so obssessed with.

It's easy ask your friends if you mind showing their extended toes on the internet and start there. I am sure once they are comfortable with the idea you will be able to get them to get their friends involved and start to put some solid evidence behind your claim.

I don't have a foot fetish, but I can't help noticing Koreans' toes now that the summer is here and so many women are wearing open-toed shoes.

So many have a second toe that is longer than the big toe. I have seen quite a few really extreme examples where the second toe extends nearly an inch beyond the big toe and other toes.

I have never noticed this at all back home, but in Korea it is so common that it is noticable.

I have noticed it a lot here too. I've wondered why it's so common here but I've never seen such a thing back home.

Maybe it explains this Korean business:

According to anatomists three quarters of the population have a so-called Egyptian foot which is characterized by a great toe longer than the second toe, 1/6 of the population have a so-called Greek foot where the great toe is shorter than the second toe, while the rest of the population have a square foot where the great toe has the same length as the second.

There is no doubt that far more than 1/6 of Koreans have a "Greek foot". See if you can find a group of six in which only one has the longer toe...

So Koreans have toes more like ancient Greeks like Aristotle and Plato.
Waygooks like the op have toes more like ancient Egyptians.

No comment. Laughing

your original point was sullied by "is it due to constant inbreeding", which is the stupidest thing you could have said, and is in fact racist you dumbass.

your 'point' is that by and large koreans have longer second toes. big deal! lots of races have different genetic traits (except the race itself strangely enough). did you know that blacks and asians also have longer gestation periods? normally about 10 months. there are probably a lot more.

An INCh? I call BS on this claim.

I was just trying to find a logical explanation for the fact that far more than the standard 1/6 have an extended second toe in Korea. And yes, I have seen a second toe that extended around an inch beyond the big toe.

Actually, you said "quite a few".

And inch is pretty large. You sure you want to stick by this claim?

Or how about that in-breeding claim? Sticking by that one as well?
