No doubt Smile Frescos:

1) proves the rumor Koreans cook western dishes just looking at the pictures and figuring out the ingredients that way

2) all Italian food is made better with ketchup and clams

3) ovens are for suckers just use a microwave

Nothing wrong with a bit of corn. Not authentic but delicious.

Tonight, my wife and I went to Il Pino and it was awesome!! It's right across from the Starbucks and so easy to get to. The lasagna was incredible! The best I've had in 6 years! The pizza is quite nice as well. My wife really enjoyed her dish as well. I highly recommend it!

Are you one of those people that goes on vacation to a country and then comes back home and criticizes everyone who wants to eat foreign food because they don't know what the real deal is?

I'm not sure where he's going with that. I have never been to Italy. I've had a lot of Italian friends and enjoyed many meals at their homes. We all have a different basis for comparison. If you lived all your life in Toronto, Taco Bell would be the height of good Mexican food.

There are certainly many large cities where there is a critical mass of Indians, Chinese, et al who prepare their foods for Indian, Chinese, et al diners. If whitey wants to eat there, fine. If whitey don't like it, well, there's an Indian waiting for his table, thanks all the same.

But then there are smaller cities (Seattle comes to mind) where there's not yet that critical mass. You need the white breads to survive and you have to serve white bread.

Yeah. I had the lasagna too. Not like any I've had before but damn all the same. Creamy, cheesy. Oh god. Yes.

Imported potatoes, shrimp, and corn. So you mean to tell me that they have real potatoes, shrimp, and corn? Awesome.
