Looking to spend Friday night in Hongdae, and since the pesky train stops running at midnight, I'll need a place to crash. What are a few Jjimjilbang locations?

The only decent one I know is called Belitaland - it's across the big street from exit 5 (KFC) and down a block on the left. It's multi-story. I know people who routinely crash there on weekends and enjoy it.

There is a good one underground. Its about three stories. I forget what it's called, but its a close walk from all the main drinking locales.

I wish I could remember the name...

Does the sign actually say "Belitaland"? If not, what does the building look like?

The sign says Belitaland, in sort of cursive, and also in Hangeul - 베리타렌드 (I'm pretty sure this is right heh). It's a block from the blue-roof gas station in the opposite direction of the subway station, and across that street. Across from it is a Book Cafe that is very popular and used to be great.

I think faster and I are thinking of the same one. Its at the bottom of a hotel (I think). Its a relatively large building on a big street with virtually no stores/restaurants/bars.

You have to go in the lobby of the building, make a left on the stairwell and drop down two floors. You'll see the lobby of the Jimjilbang at that point (no, not nearly as sketchy as it sounds).

If you can't find it right away, stop a Korean and ask for "Belitaland" or Jimjilbang.

Not sure if it's the same one. The one I'm talking about is on a street with 3 or 4 meat restaurants, across the street from TGI, a block shy of Bennigans.

To make it easier: from subway exit 5 (KFC) go straight, past Pascucci/Paris Baguette and cross the first crosswalk. This corner has Omuto Tomato then Tom&Tom's cafe. In front of Tom&Tom's, turn right and cross the main street. Continue straight (you're now perpendicular to the direction you walked from the station). Belitaland will be on your left, right on the street, a block or two down.
