So I spent the last two weeks in Canada for the first time in five years. I had a great time, but the best part was the yard sales. I went to seven or eight different ones and picked up all kinds of great things really cheap to use for my classes as well as for my two kids.

board games $3 each
books $0.25 each or 5 for $1
toys
clothes
and various other goodies.

All I can say is that if you need things for your classes and you're going to make a trip back home, go to a few yard sales and you'll definitely find some gems.
