So the past few months I have been hearing strange military type sounds, the odd bugle blaring in the morning, soldiers shouting, and even marching sounds. The thing is I am staying at the foot of Obong San Mt. in Yangsan and there is no military installation around that I know of.
I notice when these sounds start the crickets and cicadas stop theirs so I know it's just not me!

Today after din-din I went for a stroll around my neighborhood. There were numerous well beaten paths leading into the forest. As I walked up a slope and then down another I noticed some old apartments. They must be about 20 years old or so. Continuing on I saw a row of 4 rectangular shaped buildings with bars on them. There was one camouflaged little guard post which was in a very sorry state. It was getting dark so I didn't want to delve any further. This may sound crazy but I swear I could hear sounds coming from inside the buildings. I also noticed the cicadas and crickets were silent. I took a few snapshots with my phone and headed back home. I wanted to explore more but it was getting dark. As I sit here writing and uploading pics I can hear a faint bugle in the distance.

Maybe a kid has been enrolled in Band, but the neighbours all complain about his playing? So his mama sends him to the deserted army barracks.....
Of course, he will probably stir the souls of soldiers past so I wouldn't go creeping around anymore.

Just be sure you're with Daphne and Fred because Scooby and Shaggy are useless when there are ghosts around.

Spooky stories and using "after din din" just don't cut it. Cool photos though.

Why not just accept its probably haunted?

I know nowadays people tend not to believe in that stuff, but the old folks always talked of it as nothing less than fact. I have no doubts. I lived in at least 1 haunted house- verified by several similar accounts from everyone who had lived there previously.

If you research the military history of the building and the area, you may well find some surprises.

My sister had a thyroid problem, but I don't think hearing bugles was a symptom.

Why don't you make some money and organise Haunted Camp-outs at the site? I'd be in.
