i know there are indoor pools in Seoul, i've found listings for them by doing a Google search. but, i'm wondering if anyone's been to them, and if so which ones? are they really crowded, clean, dirty...? are some nicer than others? i'm coming back to Seoul in September and i am thinking of taking up swimming, but I wanted to check what types of indoor swimming facilities are available.

thanks!

also, if you know any that are in or near Dongdaemun Stadium, that'd be even better

I go to an indoor swimming pool very close to Seollung Station, Gangnam-gu. Its expensive, (W100,000 per month) probably because a) its the gangnam area and b)there aren't too many indoor swimming pools.
First time i saw it i had to laugh, its only 4 lanes wide! clean though. but i constantly have to battle for lane space with the ajummas doing their water aerobics-style exercises, or with the little kids learning how to swim. I have heard rumours of a YMCA pool somewhere, and I think there is an indoor pool near Omokyo Station. oh, and goggles and a swimming cap are mandatory.

Just forget about swimming!
Too crowded
Lanes too narrow
Water too shallow
Pool Length too short
Too expensive
Silly caps

Just take up drinking like everyone else.
