You do know that it is pronounced jjigae and not jigae, right?

And your toasted sandwich just looks gross. If that is what you call a burger, then my farts are oxygen from the gods.

No offense, just my initial think.

I think the many.

well, wo, i wasn't worried about pronunciation since i'm not speaking. as far as spelling goes, i've never seen it spelled with two j's on any english sign or menu or dictionary here in Korea. but maybe i've been looking at all the wrong ones...

as far as the burger, you'd have to eat one to know if it's gross or not. but since i don't aim to inhale your flatus anytime soon, i don't expect you to try my burger.

the soup recipe was kimchi, water, hot pepper, and tuna.

it don't burn my arse on the way out or give me heartburn. i've always been pretty tolerant of spicy food.

that kimchi jjighae doesn't look too good.

I like with no meat or tuna and eat is with kim (sushi roll seaweed). Put a little bit of kimchi or the soup between the kim. Yum. Very Happy

Without meat or tuna? Heresy. That's just called GUK in my opinion...

OP - this thread's a winner! Looks like some good eating.

Jjighae and guk is different. Taste different. I used to love it with pork now I like it with no meat. It ruins the flavor.
