This might impress her:

There's also a hip hop performance in Hongdae you guys might like.

Or you could go to Jongno, go to a "saju cafe" and have your fortunes told, and then hit a board-game cafe... that might be too geeky for you but it's a good time, trust me.

Go see JUMP! Seriously--a great time. The tag line is "Go and see the show and take all of your family and friends. They will love you forever."

So true.

Nanta is another good show to see...

Also check out upcoming performances in the LG arts Theater or Seoul Arts Center.

Anything you want to play, you'll probably find it there. They have European tile strategy games like Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne, endless strategy games like Risk or Axis and Allies, they have silly card games, and a lot of your childhood favourites like Clue, Kerplunk and Guess Who?. Last weekend, we played "Simpsons Clue" (they also had "Simpsons Chess")

Just ask yourself, what would Swiss Toni do?

Well, is this a Western or Korean girlfriend? If she's Korean, chances are her parents wouldn't appreciate you being in her room past curfew.

Dinner in Seoul Tower is nice. The revolving restaurant after dark is quite beautiful.

Yes! Take her to the Imperial Palace in Gangnam. And let me recommend the $300 a night club room. You get access to their club floor with all kinds of crazy free food and booze. Plus your GF can use the sauna for free. And there's the outdoor pool. Odds are your GF will spot some Korean celebrities. Some TV star woman was lounging around the pool when we were there last weekend and my GF spotted some singer in the lobby.

$300 might seem like a lot but you get a full hotel breakfast buffet (runs about $70 for two), a light lunch (salmon, real cheese), and a light dinner with all the beer and wine you can put down.

Here's a random sampling. I'll post some more later.

My wife once had to scout out Imperial Palace as a potential place to put up the foreign executives which visit her company a few times per year. I tagged along.

The bookings manager showed us a few average rooms which her company could afford. The, just for giggles, he showed us the Royal/Presidential (can't remember what it was called exactly) suite at the top of the hotel. Talk about decadence!! The room must have been about 60 pyeong. Huge central log fireplace (working). Huge jacuzzi room surrounded on 3 sides by plate glass windows with a view of Seoul. Hyper-expensive home-theater set-up. Chintzy, but expensive looking furniture. He told us it had been rented all of twice. To Korean showbiz agents wanting to entertain.

edit: here it is on the website MM2 linked..... 5,000,000 per night! Shocked
