Man, Koreans are weird - I saw one wearing a Black Panther t-shirt the other day.

Anyhoo, never mind the Hitler bars and all, ages ago when I was trying to change the ring tone on my phone and had my ex-girlfriend helping me, all the music options sucked (hard to believe I know).

But then lo and behold, I saw that I could use a Dissection song! Even later, I noticed that a lot of Korean CD stores sell Dissection CDs in their crappy metal section.

Koreans do realize that the vocalist that killed himself, was in jail for killing a homosexual, right?

Uh, right?

It is just weird that the now-defunct Dissection would be popular amongst Korean 'metalheads', when they pretty much held white supremacist beliefs.

Those two guitarists didn't shave their heads to look sexy, MinSu, there is another so the secret meaning!

People usually don't listen to musicians because they agree with their political beliefs, or any other beliefs. Think about all the women you see dancing to songs with disgusting, degrading lyrics. Man, rap music is great.

This point was made in a much funnier way in The Onion.

http://www.theonion.com/content/node/30733

"In an effort to motivate Americans to go to the polls on Nov. 2, a coalition of irrelevant pop stars is winding up a 36-city tour that will culminate in a concert on Oct. 11 in Washington, D.C.

... Concert organizers said the show, with its extraordinary lineup of soft-rock artists, is getting a boost in ticket sales from an unexpected demographic. John Linner of Orlando, FL is one of the tens of thousands of registered Republicans planning to attend a Vote For Change concert.

"It's going to be kind of annoying, with all the liberal bullsh*t between sets, but I can't imagine missing this kind of line-up," Linner said. "R.E.M. is a little weird, except for that one song, 'Shiny Happy People.' But how many times do you get a chance to see a tour that has Springsteen and John Fogerty?"

You got to love The Onion. Still, my favorite music-related article by them was "Christian Heavy Metal Band Denies Kicking A$$."
