I'm in trouble when I see a woman with glasses. My heart swoons and pulses. I think, 'Daaamn she's cute/hot/etc" Well usually. I do have my standards (albeit low ones). Who else digs chicks with glasses?
And if anyone has an explanation for this innocent fetish, do tell.
Just in case someone needs a visual reference (not so hot pic of tina fey but it will have to do):

Red: I do.
Green: I think it could be based on several things:
_ The belief that the girl is more intelligent. Yes, smart is sexy because a girl who's intelligent and pretty is definitely more attractive than someone who's just pretty.
_ The notion that she's repressed her sexuality in the interest of studying or building her career. But deep inside, a hidden fire burns, and you want to be there when it finally boils to the surface.
_ You get the impression that she's more independant, and thus unlikely to be clingy and dependant.
When I saw the picture below in the JoongangDaily, I just about fell out of my chair.
And yes, Tina Fey is hot. |

Weird, I have the opposite. Even really cute girls look really bad in glasses. They have to take them off for me to tell if they're good-looking or not. I've wondered about why that is for me.
In that photo for example I wouldn't even have noticed the girl in the glasses as the girl in black standing next to her is so much cuter. (but replace the glasses and it probably would have been the opposite) |

What a cute little theory. But does it mean that women like me are less intelligent because we prefer to wear contact lenses when we step outside and leave our glasses at home? What an interesting thought. I could wear my glasses instead, and so effortlessly increase my IQ. Ha.
Funnily, I don't think I've ever dated a guy who wore glasses, despite having no objection to it. Never gave it too much thought until recently. |

I can strongly relate- I've always had a thing for women with glasses....
Thats why living in korea was so nice.
Somehting incredibly sexy about the whole glasses wearing. Could have something to do with the intelligence thing as mentioned before.
Quite possibly however its to do with bad eyesight.... Chicks with bad eyes are hot because I might actually have a chance with one....
then again... if they have glasses on, then they can probably see quite ok... Which is why i never score with glasses-wearing females women either.....
But they do look good. Even if they can't see good. Except with glasses on. And then they look good. And see good too. Unfortunately. |
