You're about to get yourself a ban there fella.

I'm guessing you don't know much baout this board do you? This board is here to support a business. Its main function is supporting Dave's ESL website.

By you attacking it as you are, you call into jeopardy that livelyhood. I'm all for questioning if this place actually represents life in Korea... or even foreigners in Korea, but if you're attacking this site... I'm guessing you won't be around for much longer.

^ you know, this site can be a good place if it wasn't for its negativity. a lot of people don't come here because its so negative.

a lot of people just look at the posters on this site, and just assume thats the normal experience in korea. i personally don't think it is, but let me tell u, there are a lot of people who just lurk here, and don't participate for that reason.

i think u can tell by the numbers already that the is a small minority that post here excessively about their negative experiences and are just plain racist and will never change. and it does seem like they are clearly in the minority.

The majority of posters seem to be 22 y.o. N. Americans who just completed uni and have never been outside Fortress America, except Cancun, of course. I've never read more bs complaints and gripes about absolute horses.hit - Grow the F up, kids.

I used to have a poster of Suzanne Sommers and another one of Lindsay Wagoner.

Since Dave Sperling and I are about the same age perhaps he had some of the same posters.

Do Dave's posters give me a skewed view of Korea? I'd have to have more information about exactly which posters Dave has nowadays.

Why is just another day still here? In a thread that's been yanked, he called for an inter-board flame war. The thread's gone, but he's not?

The only reason that thread was pulled is because I mentioned the word MODS.

MODS

MODS

MODS

MODS

Aren't doing their jobs.

That should do it.

Pulling the thread wasn't enough. It's like giving aspirin when antibiotics are needed. Flaming can get a poster banned right? Well, he told the members of another discussion board that they should form a mob and flame dave's.

The people who post here are different than the average ppl living in Korea... but they are different insofar as that they've usually lived here longer than the avg teacher, so I think generally their views are more accurate and better thought out... The average person who comes to Korea, because he or she cant stand, goes home or to another country shortly thereafter... so of course that means he or she wont be around long enough to get a fair idea about the place other than that it blows for him or her.

People here: different but

Views: more accurate

For once we agree - but have your posts helped to improve that orto hurt it? When you post about Korean men and White women, but neglect the other side ofthe coin, are you really doing the topic justice?

If you want to be taken seriously as a poster here, try to have more balanced posts like the one I just quoted. Maybe adding in different sides to the story might help /shrug

there's already plenty of topics about korean women and white men. why not the other side of the coin as well? don't u believe in diversity of viewpoints?

why don't u show me which posters that talk exclusively about white men and korean women, ever talk about korean men and white girls in a positive light?

see? thats what i thought u can't. which is why diversity of viewpoints is necessary.

Captain Corea:

Why do you, and the moderators, continue to give just another day the benefit of the doubt? He has proven himself to be two-faced and of malicious intent.
