Ever notice any youtube video about Korea or Japan which might somewhat extol the virtue of either nation suddenly gets a legion of nasty vile comments? I know we kind of wring our collective hands over some of the comments we make about our host nation but the comments and stereotypes that fly between your "azn pride" types will curl your toes.
Seems the only thing they'll unite against is if some white guy waded in there proclaiming he was banging their women.

I am trying to spread caution and anger for prevention of another war caused by Japan, In order for safety, prosperity, and peace of the future.
Strongly anti-Japan and anti-communst. I am not jealous about Japan's wicked ambition, culture, economy, technology, and politics. Japan may be externally civilized or 'beautiful', but that does not mean it is something to be extremely proud of. I fear and dislike only Japan for many reasons. That makes me a worldly anti-Jap, not an ignorant racist like many other Japanese. I am really an anti-Jap with the intelligence and personality similar to a typical devilish Japanese. I really hope for a more peaceful and non-imperialist Japan.

Odd that. Asian on Asian hate is never "racist". It's just trying to, you know, educate people about their historical crimes.

Well, if you read the SuTom PuRonTuh websites, every country in East Asia is its own race. Why, I don't know. |

The world of trolls is beyond your imagination. Asian forums that cater to many different ethnicities tend to end up looking like a war zone indeed. However, it looks forums like Soompi don't have much of this trolling problem as it mainly draws people who are already favorable and interested in one particular culture, apart from the mods' policy and reinforcement.
Besides directly making inflammatory statements, the common trolling patterns I have noticed are...
Impersonating:
pretending to be someone from the 'enemy nation' and making all kinds of utter stupid remarks to make the enemy nation's claims look weaker or directly bitching about the enemy nation in the form of self-depreciation(mockery).
pretending to be someone from any third nation and bitching about the enemy nation to increase the legitimacy of your camp's attack on the enemy nation.
Media manipulation:
monitoring the enemy nation's media days and nights (biggest stalkers) and putting the worst things collected together to make a nice little video to put on youtube. Subtly distorting the contexts and putting misleading subtitles/comments are recommended. |
