in baseball, it seems like after the korean performance in the World Baseball Classic, korean mlb players have not been doing so well. this is probably the worst year i have seen in over a decade for korean mlb players.
hee seop choi fell off being time even tho the guy is like a 6'6 270 lbs monster. shin soon choo on the indians did pretty damm well for the brief time he was up, but expect big things from him in the future as well. |

Kim's gone soon, there won't be any players left and the writing seems to be on the wall for the soccer players.
Look forward to seing Choo at Jamsil soon: Mariners acquire Broussard from Tribe - Club sends Minor League outfielder Shin-Soo Choo to Indians.

First of all, I wasn't aware that anyone other than aussies and americans cared about swimming..really swimming? But there is a atereotype that the white man's body is better for swimming? I'd say its in your head.
All those years of carrying round that burden must have worked our glutes. And yes I have no idea what glutes are. |

Dude....already pointed out that there have been champions from China and Japan in most of the sports mentioned. There aren't that many asian athletes competing in these events so it's silly to make a judgement that it's about the body. Take figure skating...How many Scottish figure skating champions are there? I'd bet zero. Why? Lack of facilities and a general lack of interest which is the exact same problems Korean athletics has had until recently.....They will catch up once the interest level catches up....
This is actually pretty silly. Speed skating is HUGE here but noone would say ponder why hmmm I don't know Italians aren't great at it and bring up their race or body type as explanations.... |

But don't forget there are sports hagwons. Excluding tae kwon do, I've heard of soccer and fencing hogwans and I'm in a smaller city.... |
