-I joined ESL cafe because I wanted some information about working in korea. I found rather little. What I did find is that crazy people post wierd things and seem to get off on random drivel. Does anyone know where to get information and not "why don't white people like korean fried chicken and feed it to their russian trophey wives?"
-Is it just me or is this place crankier than a group of failed frat-rushers...

Did you try "search". There is some good info but you have to hunt for it.

I've had some pretty good fried chicken here. One place in Bundang 2 and a half years ago was really memorable. And they have the softer skinned stuff at some places. Really moist and delicious. I find fried chicken is best with hot sauce and salt. I'm sick of yang nyeom sauce.

And remember, once you find that extra special fried chicken place, you best be sharin' it with your Russian trophy wife!

But yeah, that yangnyum sauce gets kind of sickening-sweet after awhile. I like that BBQ flavor from Kyochon Chicken - still fried, but not dripping with oil. My Russian trophy wife enjoys it as well.

try looking in the "job-related forum" rather than the "general discussion forum" (where general stuff is discussed)

Also if you're looking for certain information why not just ask for it??

1. Use a subject that describes your topic.
2. What do you want to know?

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the FAQ section. All the 'factual' stuff you need to know about living in Korea is there. When you start feeling human, come back here and post about 'random stuff'.

If you've been here for a bit, you already know the answer to that question.

Speaking of Russians, have you tried white Russians? They're great in bed, as are black Russians. Nothing like a silky smooth cap to put you out before sleeping.

Yeah, a good bet would be to get out of the general forum if you want information. There's a reason I only check the Job-Related forum once a week or so (here's a hint, cause they're almost all boring threads about job-related stuff).

It's been said before and I'll say it again: The general forum is for blowing off steam and talking about "random drivel." If you want helpful, thoughtful information that's delivered in a rational manner, your best bet is to not check the general section of an online message board.

Russian wives atrophy from overconsumption of yangnyeom sauce. In some cases, considerably. I have to get a new one, mine's practically wasted away to nothing. .Damn yangnyeom. And damn the nyeom in Damyang too.

Most of the fried chicken I have tried has been butchered in crude manner and cook way too fast, either stringy or rubbery.

Although I do like the the Chicken GoJi.
