|
|
My original Xbox is modded and has a switch on the side to turn the mod chip on and off. If a chip like this is used on the xbox 360, will xbox live detect the mod chip if it is turned off and a legal game is being played online? I'm trying to decide whether to buy a modded 360 or a "clean" one, so any help would be appreciated |

The current mod is a firmware change. The reason people were picked up was down to the copied games. There are meant to be stealthed copies which work now.
I don't know if I get enough enjoyment out of Live or not. Tough one. |

That's good to know. Most games I don't care about playing on Live, but I need to be on there for Halo. I don't mind paying up for Halo 3, I just don't want to shell out the cash for games I'll play offline. Thanks for the info. |

I'm actually about to buy one. I live in Daegu, and at the military base near me you can get the mod chip installed plus a few ( 5?) burned games for 100,000 won. |
