Well, my bathroom drain pipe isn't exactly draining as quickly as it used to. Now I get a small pool in my bathroom that slowly drains away. Does anyone know of some product (like drain-o) that I can put down the bathroom pipes? Is there a brand in korea, and where does one buy it? |

There are several you can get in the supermarket. They come in a small box with a very handy picture on the cover. Usually inside the box there are 3 or 4 little packs of product for pouring down the drain, and it usually costs about 4000 won. You'll find the stuff amongst other cleaning and detergent products. But before you do go and buy that stuff, take the grate off the drain, wriggle the plastic thing (it will take a lot of effort to remove it if it it really mucky) and pull it out. There is a rubber stopper thing at the bottom that stops all the hair going into the system and most likely that is clogged up.
To loosen the drains the first time I poured boiling water down them. Now to stop them clogging ever again I clean them out every few days and pour bottles of bleach down them. |

You can find it with the other cleaning products at any supermarket, or corner store.
Look at the back of the bottles. Usually there is a photo of a sink, then the pipes, and the product cleaning the pipes. The photos are self-explanatory in telling you what the product is designed for. Usually pretty cheap to buy too. |

Don't waste your time and the environment on drain O. Get yourself a poop-pump. It's a plunger with a pump on it. It will pump your troubles good-bye. |

If you haven't already, you might lift up the top piece to reveal a small plastic cylinder piece that catches solid material like washing machine lint and hair from showering.
My bathroom drain was so stopped up and flooding the bathroom when I first got here, so I got curious to take a look down the drain pipe and found this so about once a month I dig out my litta plastic piece full of yuck. |
