|
|
Here's the idea.
This thread will be based on certain goals you want to achieve within a 100-day period. It can be anything.
We'll take some time to think about (the next two weeks - you can start earlier as a test run to break or change beforehand if you want).
The goal is starting SEPTEMBER 1st...we'll start doing whatever it is that is on our personal goal(s) list.
100 days will be DECEMBER 9th.
This thread will be to encourage keeping the goals and to keeping accountablity to them - as updates, progress reports, setbacks, etc., posted on here. |

I'm about a third of the way through the weight I want to lose for my wedding. There's no reason I can't have the rest gone by December. The big task is going to be keeping it gone until June. |

I have a few goals before the end of the year, but I'll start with losing the U.S. 15.
Every time I spend time in the States, I gain weight. I think it has to do with the water. It feels like the country is on a serious weight gaining binge, and joining in is almost inevitable. Having had a tooth pick of a male house-mate who could cook well and eat nonstop didn't help! See, I have a lot of excuses!
I am hoping that moving to the Kingdom (Saudi Arabia) and living alone again will help. Then again, Saudis are notoriously heavy.
But I am putting it in black and white here and now. I like the accountability thing! |

As it gets closer to September 1st, I'll complile a list of people's goals. Feel free to change it (if needed) over the next two weeks as you try it now on a trial basis, etc.
I have two goals:
1) To spend at least five hours a week of hard workouts in the gym over the next 100 days.
2) To decrease my current $13,000 debt to $3,000 in 100 days. (Sounds hard, but I have some good summercamp income coming in to cut down half of that goal quickly - then its just the rest of it). |

Inspired idea Tiger Beer!
I have a $7500 debt I would like to have at $2000 on December 9th and eliminated by New Year.
And I would like to say goodbye to 10kg I gained while working as a cook last year.
100 days is plenty of time to achieve both. Brilliant! Good success to everyone! |

Get through my current Korean language book because I have been seriously slacking.
Send 4 million won home because I have been seriously slacking.
Obtain the paperwork to renew my American teaching certificate, also obtain the paperwork to get a valid certificate in another state. Start the process. |

Ugh, I'm in the process of adding an endorsement right now. Sometimes this seems the paperwork alone takes way more than 100 days. Good luck on that! |

Yeah, trying to get proof of employment in Korea and Georgia (the state), as well as transcripts to get the new certificate in Virginia...plus figuring out how to get American money orders... Ugh.
I have a feeling my financial/stock dude is going to be cutting a lot of checks for me. |

Okay. I'll quit smoking (regularly) December 9th. Will do a process of trimming back. Have to find a different stress relief at work. Let's say 3 (+-1) cigarettes a day by December 9th. |

1) Finish the papers for my master's degree and get the paperwork taken care of so that I can graduate already.
2) Lose 15 lbs.
This seems reasonable by December.
Good thread idea, TB! |

Okay, officially starts tomorrow.
We'll be looking for updates!
I've been going into the gym regularly and saved some good $$ this summer to work down the debts. So got the momentum going!
Hope to see you guys all update with your progress as well, once we get started! |
