for the last couple days my computer has been randomly making the new hardware connected/disconnected sound and I had no idea what it was until I decided to print something. Turns out my printer is all wonky. I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, turned it off, disconnected the usb cable and it still only prints randomly.
I consistently get the following error message but cannot figure out how to troubleshoot it.
The photocopier and scanner functions work perfectly. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

What printer do you have?
Is there a problem with the paper feedback? |

I have a epson cx5100 and the scanner/copier functions work great. So it's not a paper feed problem.
Interestingly my computer was going wonky on me, but when I turn the printer off the computer works fine. I think that something inside the printer has gone haywire and is affecting my computer. Probably time to buy a new one.
Was planning on it, but htis month is not a good month for finances. Hoping to get this printer to work for september and then I'll replace it. |
